| Jazz Study is of doubtful authorship. A note on the envelope says: "Doris Denison [sic] sent to JC
6/29/89. She says it is JC. He has no memory of it.". The use of jazz elements is quite un-Cage, though the repetition of a limited number of musical elements is typical of Cage's compositions from this period. |
